overview using a proxy grants the ability to use 1 public ip address for multiple tenant environments by mapping fqdn hostnames it also allows customers to use their own domain to access their tenant environments enable proxy proxy configuration requires at least one public ip address assigned to your tenant if your tenant does not already have public ips assigned, please contact korgrid support to request them determine ip address before enabling the proxy configuration, you must first select an ip address you wish to use as the proxy ip from the top menu , click networks > list select the external network from the left menu , click view from the left menu , click network blocks ip blocks that have been assigned to your tenant appear here choose an ip address from the list of network blocks to use as your proxy ip enable proxy from the top menu , click networks > list select the external network from the left menu , click edit toggle enable proxy click submit create ip alias from the left menu , click ip addresses from the left menu , click new type , select ip alias enter the desired ip address ℹ️ an ip from one of the network blocks assigned to your tenant click submit create proxy firewall rule from the top menu , click networks > list select the external network from the left menu , click view from the left menu , click rules from the left menu , click new enter a name for the rule (e g , accept proxy ) (optional), enter a description action , select accept protocol , select tcp direction , select incoming pin , select top configure source type , select any / none configure destination type , select my ip addresses ip address , select the desired ip address destination ports/ranges , set to 443,80 click submit click apply rules to apply the changes to the network create dns entries on your organization's dns server(s), create an a record for the desired fqdn that will be used to access your tenant point the record to the public ip address selected during proxy configuration once the dns record has propagated, your tenant will be accessible using the custom fqdn if you receive ssl certificate warnings when accessing your tenant ui, assign a valid public ssl certificate to your tenant see certificates docid\ s84hpot0vzny4mglsnvho for assistance
