rate limiting rate limiting allows you to control how much bandwidth a tenant network can consume across internet or inter tenant connections create limit rule from the top menu , click networks > list select the desired tenant network (e g , tenant development , tenant pci , etc ) from the left menu , click view from the left menu , click rules from the left menu , click new enter a name for the rule (optional), enter a description action , select accept protocol , select any direction , select incoming interface , select auto pin , select top toggle enable throttle enter the desired throttle rule configure source to limit upload from the tenant out type , select my network address configure destination to limit download to the tenant in type , select my network address click submit ⚠️ click apply rules to apply the changes to rate limit traffic in both directions with the same rule simply leave source and destination as any / none throttle rules throttling rules use the syntax \<value>/\<time unit> \[burst \<packets/bytes>] 2 mbytes/second 2 megabytes per second ( 16mb/s) 100/second 100 packets per second 100mbytes/day burst 10 mbytes 100 megabytes per day, with a 10mb burst
