overview think of aliases as groups of ip addresses, ranges, and subnets aliases centralize the management of ip address sets that can be used across multiple network rules this helps streamline administration by allowing you to maintain address lists in one place rather than updating individual rules aliases create an alias from the top menu , click networks > aliases from the left menu , click new enter a name for the alias (optional), enter a description enter an address set individual ip address 192 168 1 200 cidr network 10 10 4 0/27 ip range 192 168 1 50 192 168 1 55 combination allows a pipe delimited list (e g , 192 168 1 200|10 10 4 0/27 ) set publishing scope global available to this tenant and its sub tenants private (default) (default) available only to this tenant click submit modify an alias from the top menu , click networks > aliases select the desired alias from the left menu , click edit modify desired fields click submit delete an alias from the top menu , click networks > aliases select the desired alias from the left menu , click delete click yes to confirm
