Overview
Think of aliases as groups of IP addresses, ranges, and subnets. Aliases centralize the management of IP address sets that can be used across multiple network rules. This helps streamline administration by allowing you to maintain address lists in one place rather than updating individual rules.
Aliases
Create an Alias
- From the Top Menu, click Networks -> Aliases
- From the left menu, click New
- Enter a Name for the alias
- (Optional), enter a Description
- Enter an Address set
- Individual IP Address - 192.168.1.200
- CIDR Network - 10.10.4.0/27
- IP Range - 192.168.1.50-192.168.1.55
- Combination - Allows a pipe-delimited list (e.g., 192.168.1.200|10.10.4.0/27)
- Select Publishing Scope
- Global - Available to this tenant and its sub-tenants
- Private (default) - Available only to this tenant
- Click Submit
Modify an Alias
- From the Top Menu, click Networks -> Aliases
- Select the desired alias
- From the left menu, click Edit
- Modify desired fields
- Click Submit
Delete an Alias
- From the Top Menu, click Networks -> Aliases
- Select the desired alias
- From the left menu, click Delete
